FAQ

Is this safe for people with nut allergies?

Our Pure Gold Balm contains Brazilian Nut Oil and Black Seed Oil. If you have a known nut or seed allergy, we recommend consulting your dermatologist before use. All other ingredients (tallow, olive oil, castor oil, sea buckthorn oil, beeswax) are not tree nuts. We always recommend a patch test on a small area of skin before first use.

What is the shelf life?

Unopened, our products last 12 months from the date of production. Once opened, use within 6 months for best results. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The balm's natural color may deepen slightly over time — this is normal and does not affect quality.

What skin types is this for?

Tallow's fatty acid profile closely mirrors human sebum, making it compatible with all skin types — dry, oily, combination, and sensitive. Customers with eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea have reported significant improvement. If you have acne-prone skin, start with a small amount — tallow is non-comedogenic and many acne-prone customers find it balances their skin's oil production.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is tallow skincare?

Tallow is rendered fat from grass-fed cattle. It's been used for centuries as a skincare staple because its fatty acid profile closely mirrors human skin's natural oils, making it deeply nourishing and easily absorbed.

How do I use Pure Gold Tallow Balm?

Warm a small amount between your fingertips and gently press into clean skin. A little goes a long way. Use morning and night as your daily moisturizer, or as a targeted treatment for dry patches.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Pure Gold is formulated without parabens, synthetic fragrances, or harsh chemicals. All ingredients are organic and selected for their gentle, nourishing properties. However, we always recommend patch-testing any new skincare product.

How should I store it?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Tallow balm is stable at room temperature. In warmer climates, you may notice a softer texture — this is normal and doesn't affect the product.

Where do you source your ingredients?

Our tallow comes from 100% grass-fed, grass-finished cattle. All oils — black seed, sea buckthorn, Brazilian nut, olive, and castor — are cold pressed and organic. We prioritize quality and transparency in every ingredient.
